In Montreal, around the 1950s, Dr. Ewen Cameron, a renowned psychiatrist, conducted experiments on his patients. Massive doses of electroshock, administration of LSD, alienating messages played in a loop... His ambition is great: he wants to reprogram their brains. Not all of his patients escape unscathed. Several decades later, journalists became interested in this obscure part of the history of psychiatry in Canada, and the true context of Dr. Cameron's work was then brought to light.
