A documentary about the collection of miniature crime scenes created in the 1930's and 1940's called Nutshell Studies of Unexplained Death. Made by Frances Glessner Lee, a millionaire heiress who revolutionized the study of crime scene investigation and who founded Harvard's department of legal medicine, the first program in the nation for forensic pathology, the diormas are still used today to give homicide detectives a medical view of a crime scene.
