Abstract:
This film takes us to the two best dinosaur sites in the world: Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, and Mongolia's Nemegt Valley, which together provide a third of the world's finds. Eleanor Kish is renown for her technically accurate, but also very beautiful, paintings of dinosaurs and their environments. She works closely with Dr. Dale Russell a paleontolgist at the Canadian Museum of Nature in Ottawa. Donna Sloan is a staff artist with Dr. Phillip Currie's group at the Royal Tyrrell Museum of Paleontology in Drumheller, Alberta. Establishing what kind of vegetation made up dinosaur habitats is the specialty of paleobotanist Dr. David Jarzen. Paleontologists and paleoartists share their passion for a world and its creatures long since vanished, in "Dinoaurs: Piecing it all together".
