Abstract:
Les bijoux de la Castafiore: To Captain Haddock's utter dismay, Bianca Castafiore invites herself to Marlinspike Hall! Arriving with her maid Irma and her pianist Igor Wagner, she is soon hounded by journalists, paparazzis, and mysterious prowlers who all seem more interested in the singer's precious jewels than in her rich voice.
Tintin and the picaros: Everyone at Marlinspike Hall is shocked: upon their arrival in South America, Bianca Castafiore, her maid and pianist, and the Thompsons have been arrested by General Tapioca's regime. The dictator accuses Haddock and Tintin of masterminding a plot to help General Alcazar take power of San Theodoros.
