Under the seasoned leadership of Dr. Travis Ryer (Edward Burns), clients may hunt dinosaurs if they follow guidelines intended to protect the time line. But when the rules are broken, the hunters return to a markedly different future than the one they left. Now, as "time waves" ripple from the Prehistoric past, through the present and into an uncharted future, Ryer teams up with Sonia Rand (Catherine McCormack), the inventor of time travel technology, to unravel the mystery behind the catastrophic changes that are threatening the very existence of humanity.
