Alan Turner, an agent of the British Foreign Office, is sent to Bonn, West Germany to investigate the mysterious disappearance of a British Embassy officer. While Turner at first suspects that spies may be to blame for the disappearance, he discovers that the town may actually be under control of former Nazi officers.
