Mickey Dupree is a very successful criminal attorney in upstate New York. The upside of being Mickey: he's never lost a capital murder case. The downside: he has a lot of enemies, and one of them just drove the shaft of a golf club through his heart. The cops focus on Virgil Cain. Why?
