"Kempe Gowda is a sub-inspector in his native Rona in Hubli. Armugam is a notorious criminal who indulges in kidnapping for ransom and other illegal activities and has links to [a] senior police officer that keeps him safe from the law, but only till Kempegowda comes into the picture. Armugam is insulted when he is forced to visit Kempe Gowda's police station. He gets him transferred to Bangalore, where he is powerful to take revenge. The rest of the film chronicles how Gowda manages to dismantle Armugam's illegal empire bit by bit."--Container.
