Abstract:
There is something special about riding the rails; just ask any train lover. And there's something spectacular about riding railways in the Rocky Mountains. This program lets viewers revel in some of the most beautiful scenery in North America aboard the steam-driven Georgetown Loop Railroad and Amtrak's California Zephr. We board the Winter Park Ski Train, which runs year-round to Winter Park Resort, from Denver's suburbs, into red rock canyons, past ghost towns and through 28 Rocky Mountain tunnels. The Coors Brewery Rail Station offers access downtown Denver. Tiny Town Railway is the oldest kid-size village and railroad in the United States. Also we visit Denver's historic Union Station that dates back to 1868.
