Female mbube/isicathamiya group from Durban, South Africa. The mbube genre, made popular by the group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, is a type of a cappella Souith African vocal music. Groups of voices singing homophonically in rhythmic unison are employed to create intricate harmonies and textures.
