Diana, a beautiful and smart seventeen-year-old, is determined to conquer her fears of the dark and animals by accepting a summer job at an Olympic and therapeutic riding academy in northern New Hampshire. She is warned by a mysterious man that things aren't what they seem as strange things have been happening. But, as Diana starts a romantic relationship with the head trainer, Micca, she soon finds out she is living with a coven of witches, and Micca is a chosen one.   Danger abounds, as a rival coven attempts to run her friends off the sacred land they live on.   Diana's own magical powers become apparent, and with the help of two dogs, a crow, and a beautiful black stallion, she must find a way to save the one she loves and the stables from the evil working against them.
