Set in the days of ancient Rome, this animated film features the invincible little warrior Astérix and his heroic companion Obélix. To rescue a young couple from their village who've been captured by the Romans and scheduled to be dragged into the Colosseum and fed to the lions, Asterix and Obelix take the desperate step of enrolling as students in a school for gladiators.
