Through a lecture presentation, offers advice on dealing with memory loss, providing steps to boosting cognitive function along with insight on how to protect one's memory, including: skipping "bad fats, " which helps lower cholesterol levels and fights the formation of amyloid plaques that form in the brain, leading to Alzheimer's; stocking the refrigerator with power foods like broccoli that contain essential nutrients for brain structure and function; avoiding metals found in foods, vitamins, cooking products, and deodorant that can be harmful to one's memory; eliminating free radicals which form in the bloodstreem, cells, and can burn holes in the brain; increasing physical activity to protect the brain; and learning which medicines can harm the brain.
