Based on a successful comic book, the series is set in a post-apocalyptic world where Jeremiah (Luke Perry) is one of the oldest survivors of a deadly virus that wiped out the adult population, sparing only those at puberty or younger. Spurred by rumors that his father may still be alive, he is determined to unlock the secrets of the virus.
