Teenie, a seven-year-old girl, is abandoned in the rain outside a Glasgow pub while her father gets drunk. Alone, vulnerable, and standing in the rain, we follow her misadventures as she falls prey to a drunken old man, a stray dog, and two bullying older boys, before being temporarily rescued by a local shopkeeper. A bittersweet rites-of-passage tale, DADDY'S GIRL poignantly makes us aware of the struggle of many today's children.
