The culture and struggle of the Canadian Gypsy, aka Roma, is the theme of this video. While the older generation of Roma conceal their Gypsy heritage out of fear of being persecuted, the children have begun to defend their human rights and acknowledge their Gypsy roots with pride. This documentary also includes scenes of flamenco dances, and songs from Turkey, Romania, Spain, the Czech Republic and Slovakia that portray the Roma experience.
