Ishmael is very proud. At the school of wizards, he received the very first prize for magic. He walks confidently through the forest thinking of all the tricks he could do and how he could defend himself if the wolf, snake and boar bother him, as they usually do, on the path. But strangely, he does not meet them. When he arrives at his grandmother's, he finds the door ajar and discovers the three intruders. But at the same time, his grandmother, a reputedly great witch, returns home. How will the three intruders manage to get out without being seen? Can they count on the help of Ishmael?
