When their teenage daughter goes missing, serving Glasgow police detective, Chris O'Neill, and his wife Michelle - a former undercover officer - use their skills to try and track her down. Michelle heads to London in a quest that puts her dangerously close to the criminal underworld she previously escaped. Meanwhile, Chris gets a tip-off about an infamous, unsolved kidnapping involving another teenage girl.
